Book Crush Week Day 3

June 10: “Writeography”: You become a fictional character; which author would you want to write your story? Why?

I am switching it up today. No dragons. And also not quite a fantasy/sci fi genre.

I would like Nalini Singh to write my romantic life as a character. 

I love both of her series, the Archangel series with angels and vampires and her Psy-Changeling series. 

If given a preference, I would rather live in the Psy-Changeling world.  Because shape-shifters and psychic powers are cool! (My middle school age desire for superpowers has never gone away).

Also, Singh’s Angel and Vampire inhabited world is currently full of all kinds of conflict, natural disasters, and arrogant powerful beings desiring to take over large portions of the world and showing off their power through harming others. So, while I would like Singh to write my story, I would prefer to be in the Psy-Changeling world, which, while still in the midst of conflict, isn’t quite as chaotic (at the moment).

I love the balance that she shows between the growing romance of the characters, the greater conflict, and the constant move towards a better future for both the individuals and the groups.

Which Author would you want to write your story?
