Weekend Writing Prompt: Strangest Place to Leave your…

We’ve all done it before. We’ve all left our keys somewhere odd. “Now, why did I put these here?” we ask ourselves.

It is a part of human nature to place something important in an odd place when we are distracted. So work this into a story or poem.

Write about the search for the lost keys and reveal the odd place where they were placed.

This was inspired by my sister-in-law. Here’s why:

She was distracted by my nephews who were asking to be picked up when she came home, so she set her keys down somewhere close and convenient, where she definitely would see and find them (on the bird feeder).

It took two days to find them.
