Writing Prompt 1 Minute

The door in front of you slams shut, but down the hall, another door opens and knocks against the wall. This house is haunted.

Write the story that led you to this haunted house and what happens after this moment.

This week’s prompt is inspired by a sign that I found in Target’s dollar section.

It’s A Sign!

I like to read horror stories and novels, but I’m not a huge fan of the movies (because I hate when things pop out at me). But I love reading about the supernatural, so I tend to watch them anyway.

What is your favorite Horror movie? Your favorite Horror novel? I need some recommendations for what to read in the next two months before the Halloween Season ends!
